Amazon.com Fraudulent Email

Viruses

We have noticed that a lot of users have been receiving illegitimate emails from the popular site Amazon.com.
The phishing attempt claims that you have purchased items that you did not buy. All the links in the email lead to a spammers website which most likely asks for additional information. The email is fraudulent and is a phishing attempt. Click read more for details.

Fraudulent Phishing Attempt! - Fraudulent ciaccess.com account notifications

We have noticed that some users have been receiving "ciaccess.com account notifications" via email. These are from a fraudulent party requesting for the user to click and run a file and follow the included instructions. This message is fraudulent and is a phishing attempt. CIACCESS will never ask you to run a file, reactivate your mailbox or ask you for your password on a mass email basis. Fraudulent Phishing Attempt! - Shutdown Notice

We have noticed that some users have been receiving "Shutdown Notices" via email from a fraudulent party requesting for them to send their username and password to "Webmail Support" to prevent their accounts from being terminated. This message is fraudulent and is a phishing attempt. CIACCESS will never ask you for your password on a mass email basis. Fraudulent Phishing Attempt! - CIACCESS Technical Support - "A new settings file for the username@ciaccess.com mailbox"

Viruses

Please be on the lookout for multiple fraudulent phishing emails that are impersonating CIACCESS Technical Support. These are called phishing emails. The message subject could be labeled as "(A new settings file for the username@ciaccess.com mailbox)" , "(For the owner of the username@ciaccess.com e-mail account)" or similar. Do not click on any links in the email as they execute malicious code (multiple viruses). If you receive this message, delete it and do not respond to it. If you did respond to this party, please contact us and then we can change your password. If you did click any links in the email, we recommend scanning your computer for viruses and spyware. Illegitimate Email - Facebook Social Networking Site

We have noticed that a lot of users have been receiving illegitimate emails from the popular social networking website named Facebook.

Please be on the lookout for multiple fraudulent phishing emails that are impersonating CIACCESS Technical Support. These are called phishing emails. These could be landing in your held message area at CIACCESS if you check this area regularly within webmail or simply in your mailbox. The message subject could be labeled as "(***SPAM-BULK*** your mailbox has been deactivated)" or similar. Do not run any email attachments as they would be a virus (in a zip archive). Notice! Illegitimate Email "Update for Microsoft Outlook / Outlook Express"

An illegitimate email has been going around posing as a security update from Microsoft for Microsoft Outlook/Outlook Express. This email is fraudulent and is a phishing attempt.
